Lonely as a Cloud is a Perth based label established in 2010 by designers Chloe Jones and Natalie Fardella.
Both having a love for all things childlike and whimsical, they draw inspiration from short stories written by themselves, from imaginations most of us left behind in childhood.
They invent eccentric playful characters that collect things, are friends with animals and live slightly detached from society in a dreamlike state with their heads up in the clouds, each of which acts like a muse to inspire a different garment.
They use silks and cottons in delicate muted hues, along with hand sewn manipulations, beading and textile techniques to design feminine, romantic collections with soft flowing silhouettes, full of whim and fancy.
All garments are designed and made by hand by the designers in their Perth based studio. All fabric is purchased and sourced from within Australia.
